Lach Huyen International Port officially operated 6/1/2018


Lach Huyen International Port was officially opened on 13th May, with total investment of VND 30,719 billion. This is the first ODA project in PPP form between Vietnamese and Japanese Government.

Lach Huyen International Port is construct to meet the increasing demand of cargo handling in Vietnam. This is the deep water port satisfying demand of anchorage of sea vessel with large tonnage, located in Lach Huyen area, Cat Hai Island, to the east of Hai Phong City.

Specifically, the Project scope includes 01 container terminals with the length of 750m, total area of 750,000m2, breakwater and sand cutoff dyke with total length of 10.8km and vessel channel at the depth of -14m on the length of 17.4km, being capable of receiving container vessel of 100,000 DWT.

The Lach Huyen International Port in combination with Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Highway open a new horizon for transport and logistics of Hai Phong City in particular and Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh economic zone in general.

Bee Logistics is proud to have many first shipments handled in this international port. On 23 May 2018, Bee Hai Phong representatives were invited by MCC/Maersk at Hai Phong International Container Terminal to witness the unloading of the first trip in which Bee Logistics accounts for the largest volume.
